In the works. Inspired by April’s Pink Moon…

“I am currently experimenting with these Pink Moon in the Village* images. These will be layered images, I think, but with a level of transparency. These are still in the works so I am not entirely sure where they are going. They are inspired by the April pink moon (4/23/24) as it relates to these Maine seacoast villages I love so much. These seaside villages pepper our shoreline and all get shone upon by the same heavenly body reflected on the Atlantic. So far, these images are composed with layers of various screen prints on paper, screen prints on mylar, lithographs, and hand-drawing for the design process. I have included some of the experimental examples I have made, and that I am working with here, to show you what I am combining in this exploratory phase to compose and assemble these Pink Moon in the Village images. Offered this summer.”
