Carolyn Griffin is a Maine artist currently singing the praises of this beautiful place in a series of projects. She holds a BFA in Printmaking from University of New Hampshire and completed a Masters of Design in Cambridge, MA. She returned to Maine several years ago after a 20 year absence.
“Whether relishing the cottage gardens of our seaside villages, the birches that criss-cross our woodlands and illuminate our winter landscape, or the moon over our harbors, I make fine art constructions to celebrate that Maine spirit. I want these works to be honored moments, captured in a frame, like tiny altars to the infinite beauty of this place. Its spirit is always new.”
In addition to creating fine art, Carolyn has contracted for CD design, tattoo design, video and other promotional collateral. She is available for freelance work.
